Google Chrome

Now the "tentacles" from Mountain View are coming everywhere.
Qulache time ago, when the blog was still on vacation, was born Google Chrome, the new browser launched by the Mountain View giant.
A browser which, according to the developers should be more or less summed up in these few lines:

"Google Chrome is a browser designed to make fast, easy and secure use of Web design with a minimum that does not interfere with navigation."

The merits and innovations of this browser are contained in a small sidebar on the official site and consist of:

A multifunction box
Type in the address bar and get suggestions on research and on web pages.

Thumbnails of most visited websites
Log in instantly to your favorite pages from any new tab.

Shortcuts for applications
Show your desktop shortcuts to launch your favorite Web applications.

But because the team has created a Google browser? Here's an excerpt of what has prompted developers to design Chrome.

"Here at Google we do most of our work using a browser. Use it to search, chat, send email and collaborate. And like all of you, in your free time, we make purchases, check your account at the bank, read news and keep us in touch with friends - all with a browser. People spend more time on the net, and do things that 15 years ago, at the time of the birth of the Web, were simply unimaginable.
Just because we spend so much time online, we began to think seriously what kind of browser would be possible to create, from scratch and building the best solutions on the market. The Web has evolved dramatically in recent years: the simple text pages have given way to sophisticated interactive applications, therefore we soon realized that it was necessary to rethink the very concept of the browser. What I had in mind was not simply a navigation tool, but a modern platform on which to run applications and web pages.
From an aesthetic point of view, we designed a browser window look simple and straightforward. For many, the browser is only a tool to access what really matters: the pages, sites and applications that constitute the essence of the Web
From a technical point of view, we managed to lay the foundation of a browser that can run the most advanced web applications in an optimal way. By holding the cards in isolated environments, we have ensured that any anomaly within a card did not affect the operation of the other, and we were able to provide more efficient protection against the dangerous sites. We increased the speed and speed of response on all fronts. In addition, we have created a powerful JavaScript engine, called V8, capable of running web applications in next generation, impossible to do with the current browser.

(ndr They predict the end of all the other browsers? It 'a little anticipation of what is a boiling pot in Mountain View? as Interesting statement!)

But this is only the beginning: Google Chrome is far from a finished project. We have released this beta for Windows with the intent to broaden the debate and receive comments and opinions of the users as soon as possible. We are working to create versions for Mac and Linux and will continue to work to make the browser more stable and fast.
We are deeply in debt to many open source projects and it is our intention to continue on the path taken by them. Among others, we used components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox and, in keeping with that spirit, we decided to make our code fully open source. We hope that collaboration with the whole community is a stimulus for the evolution of the Web "
